How Crimson Crown Works

Crimson Crown is a slot machine based on a typical five-payline layout. Combos are formed during normal spinning, while Bonus symbols allow the player to have access to the main Hold & Win round. In the Main Game, symbols may appear with any of the following denominations: x1, x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x7, and x10 bet.

The appearance of six or more Bonus symbols will lead to activation of the BG. Switching from the Main Game to the Hold & Win round is immediate and takes place as soon as the required number of symbols appears. Do these symbols have to land to start the Bonus mode? No. The game has an additional trigger mechanism - Coin Rush, which allows starting the Bonus Game in another way.

How Coin Rush Triggers

Coin Rush requires certain conditions to be fulfilled. First, the spin must end without any winning payline combinations. At least one symbol must appear on the reels. If both conditions are met, then there is a possibility of seven Bonus symbols appearing randomly, with random values assigned to them. Then the BG starts.

How the Bonus Game Works

Hold & Win Feature kicks in after the triggering of the Bonus mode is triggered. There are a few steps involved, which include:

  1. The beginning.
  2. Fixed symbols on the reels.
  3. Three spins available for the player.
  4. Any new symbol landing on the reels sets the spin count back to three.
  5. Landed symbols are fixed.

The feature ends when the spin counter hits zero, and no more symbols appear.

This process enables further symbols to increase the value gained from the reels.

What the Collector Does

The Collector is used for the Hold & Win feature. It does not have an individual payout value; instead, it accumulates the values of all symbols currently displayed on the reels. Also, it accumulates all jackpots received during the game.

Since it unites the values of several Bonus symbols into one collection process, the Collector modifies the final calculation of payouts in the Bonus game. The official game description contains no information about any multiplication of values.

Crimson Crown Fixed Jackpots

The fixed jackpots in Crimson Crown include four jackpots, and they can all be collected during the Bonus mode. Contrary to progressive jackpots that become bigger as time goes by, these jackpots have a fixed multiplier depending on the size of the bet.

JackpotPayout
Grandx5,000 bet
Majorx150 bet
Minorx50 bet
Minix25 bet

These jackpots represent a set percentage of the prize money. To collect the Mini, Minor, and Major Jackpots, one must participate in the extra round of the game, and to collect the Grand Jackpot, another requirement exists. If one collects 15 symbols during the Bonus game, one will receive the Grand Jackpot of 5,000 times the current bet.

Crimson Crown Bonus Buy

Crimson Crown features Bonus Buy, which allows players to directly enter the BG with a multiplier of 28 times the total stake. The activation of this feature through purchase bypasses the regular way of triggering it while ensuring the appearance of six symbols on the reels, which marks the start of the Hold & Win round. For instance, bet €1, and Bonus Buy: €28.

While this lets you enter the extra round directly, the purchase does not guarantee any outcome, prize, or earnings from the game. Players need to understand that purchasing this direct-access option does not change the game's RTP in any way.

RTP, Volatility and Win Frequency

Crimson Crown has an RTP of 95.81%, High/High variance, and a hit rate of 20.03%. These three numbers provide information on different characteristics of the game's mathematics.

  1. RTP (95.81%) is the long-term average winback over a very large number of spins.
  2. High variance means that wins are usually not evenly distributed and are characterised by less frequent large wins and more frequent small wins.
  3. Hit rate (20.03%) is the frequency of winning combinations appearing.

SuperWin (25× bet)1 in 165
Mega Win (50× bet)1 in 551
Epic Win (100× bet)1 in 2,590

These figures reflect results from trials and should not be taken as assurance for upcoming spins. Similarly, RTP is an estimate over time, not an indicator of any particular gambling experience.

Crimson Crown Demo and Real Play

The Crimson Crown demo is designed to help players learn the game mechanics without risking real money.

Playing the demo makes it possible for players to learn about:

  1. Five-payline play
  2. How extra symbols act
  3. Progression of Hold & Win game
  4. How the collector works
  5. Coin rush activation
  6. Fixed jackpots
  7. Bonus Buy (if available at the casino that operates this game)

Since the demo follows the same mechanics as the real game, it helps you understand how the various elements work together before playing with real money.
